Portland State University and Students

Students at the Portland State University School of Architecture have partnered with the AfroVillage team to both learn from and support the movement through design. Todd Ferry is a co-founder of the Homelessness Research and Action Collaborative, and students in his 2019 fall architecture studio were tasked with reimagining possibilities for alternative shelter approaches and creating a first vision for what the AfroVillage might look like under the direction of LaQuida Landford.
