Wellness Through Mushrooms: A Six-Part Series with Afro-Village & Pharm to Body. Session 1: Benefits of Mushrooms & Making Shelf-Stable Mushrooms

Join Afro-Village and Pharm to Body at the Village, for a six-part workshop series exploring the healing, nourishing, and transformative power of mushrooms. Each session blends knowledge-building with hands-on practice as we highlight a different mushroom and technique—from making teas and tinctures to cooking, preserving, and crafting your own mushroom medicine.

Over six sessions, you’ll learn to make concentrated mushroom powders, teas, tinctures, and shelf-stable mushrooms, and explore the deep ancestral relationship between mushrooms, food, and wellness in African and diasporic traditions. Workshops will take place the first two Wednesdays of each month: November, December, and January. Each Class stands on it’s own. Join one or come to all! We are excited to grow with you!
