Our Partners who have joined the movement.

AfroVillage thrives through deep partnerships with organizations, funders, and community allies who believe that care is a collective act.
Every collaboration helps us expand access, build sustainability, and center the voices of Black and Brown communities in shaping our future.

Through these partnerships, we’re creating new pathways for wellness, housing justice, climate resilience, and digital equity, showing what’s possible when care becomes a shared commitment.

Partnership Spotlights

Street Roots × AfroVillage

Digital justice is an important part of what AfroVillage does. Partnering with the city and with Street Roots
has made it possible for us to offer free community wi-fi in Old Town. You can find one of our internet nodes at Street Roots and enjoy free internet around that block!

PCEF × AfroVillage: Reuse to Rebuild

With support from Portland’s Clean Energy Fund, we’re transforming retired MAX train cars into
the Afrofuturism Oasis, a hub for learning, wellness, and collective imagination.
This project shows what can happen when sustainability meets community design.

Play Grow Learn × AfroVillage

Through our partnership with Play Grow Learn we are able to offer access to fresh produce, opportunities to volunteer on a community farm, and workshops.
