The AfroFuturism Oasis: Empowering Our Futures

Tickets click here!

This event will spotlight the AfroFuturism Oasis project — an innovative, healing-centered community space in North Portland that retrofits a retiring MAX train into a sustainable hub for rest, wellness, co-working, and resilience.

AfroVillage PDX is a grassroots movement led by activist Laquida Landford (“Q”) and dedicated to supporting Black women, people of the African Diaspora, and those impacted by systems of oppression. Through creative, community-based solutions, AfroVillage addresses barriers to housing, economic opportunity, and access to care — all while centering sustainability, cultural expression, and resilience.

Proceeds will directly support AfroVillage’s AfroFuturism Oasis project, community wellness kits, public Wi-Fi expansion in Old Town, and the broader effort to co-create an equitable and sustainable Portland.

Ticket prices are on a sliding scale, please select the price you find most appropriate.
